Just from the pic it looks like a cable steering with Power assist ( pump on engine to T-Plate) - standard steering system

In Ontario - Land and Sea (Mercury accessory division), Hutchings Marine (Bracebridge) are just two wholesale'rs that stock the rotary kits (Sea Star Kits) so its just a matter of finding a dealership/ parts dept that will open a book and actually look in it vs. just blowing you off ...

If by chance it has to be ordered in, mass orders are coming in before April b/c of the Spring booking orders have to go out to dealerships before season starts

Basically same requirements as the Rack systems (Cable length and dash requirements * Tech support is very good)...

For Example:

SeaStar Solutions

I was hoping to get away with just replacing the helm as there's over a quarter turn of slack in the wheel

Its a Morse rotary helm and cable. Teleflex bought Morse out years ago and then all that turned into Sea Star Solutions but a cooler / frig company owns all that currently..
