If rebuildiing the 575, call Eddie Young and discuss with him. He's done quite a few (including 2 for me a few years ago). He's got a nice injector setup and can tune in the boat. Does good work and stayed on budget.

I did contact him already and he’s booked already for the winter season as far as engines are concerned

No personal experience but I would imagine a 565 would run very similar in terms of performance to the 525 boats. Mid 70's

If you're looking to go 80+ I would rebuild the 575 and change to a Whipple. I don't think it would be to difficult to get 700 reliable horsepower out of that set up.

You can get 700hp out of the 575SCI pretty easily, 750hp with Eddie's fuel injection upgrade using the original blower. I managed to get 760hp out of mine with no reliability issues. Heads, roller cam and send the blower to DMPE and have it Teflon stripped.

So I'm in the same position as you I have a 06 with a 575 and just need more, I'm getting mid 70's 2 ppl and fuel. Curious what you are seeing? I'm in process of putting together a 565ci 8.3L Whipple. Engine.
