Jescar powerlock plus or any sealant wax

Seeing alot of good reviews on the jescar powerlock plus but they've all been on cars. Anybody used it or another sealant on gelcoat? Or do I just need to break down and have it ceramic coated?

do the ceramic coating yourself. its not hard to apply.
