early version did not use it... its the cam sensor and not used because the fuel injectors were batch fired -- BUT later versions DID PLUG into the cam sensor as it was USED ----- to end up firing the fuel injectors in semi batch fired.
All this goes by engine serial number when it was NOT used and when it WAS used. I would have to run your serial number when I get a chance to if it was or not used.

the correct answer is no plug into the HVS period... That's because you have the early version set up and earlier ecm 555 calibration, Persay the lessor EC requirements to be met for the EPA standards here in the USA for that build timeframe..
