A proven pair of motorsports champions, Travis Pastrana and Steve Curtis will run the Miss GEICO raceboat this season, https://speedonthewater.com/in-the-n...ionship-series.

I think it is great actually.

it brings a name to the sport and the guy has driven just about anything with a motor to date and has done well. I like the idea and am sure he will get seat and test time before the season starts.

MGR is too serious of a team to not have considered the risks Travis’ lack of offshore experience poses. Will be an interesting storyline to attract more fans and spectators.

Will they be in key west for the worlds though??

and by the way, if any of you want to be extremely entertained while learning about pastranas beginning rise to fame watch the ”unchained - the untold story of freestyle motor-cross”. Fantastic movie and you get to see how humble and laid back pastrana is while showing his boyish enthusiasm and almost naïveté.

Also take into consideration who he’ll be sitting next to in the boat . Steve Curtis ranks among the best in the business I doubt he’d get into a race boat with someone he didn’t feel comfortable with. This will be fun to watch

Heck, get Johnny Knoxville in there too and we'll take this sport to the next level!

While it may be a bit of a far out idea to most in the industry, we all know its for the better of the sport as it will draw more attention from the general public.
