Default Need suggestion on how to

remove ink from vinyl upholstery. Have tried just about everthing. Ink has been on for about 1 1/2 weeks. Would appreciate any remedy that has worked for you.

Thanks,
Marie

Be careful. But you can try either alcohol or nail polish remover (just not too much).

All of the above. Went to the Ford dealer and they tried a vesco cloth that removes paint and other things on a sample piece I brought in. Worked! going to wait till tomorrow and see what happens to the sample before we try it on the real thing.

Thanks!!

Automatic dishwasher soap or go to a commercial Dry Cleaners and buy Albatross Ink-X that’s what they use.

Good Luck be careful sometimes trying a Solvent will make the problem worse!

Laquer thinner takes it off. However, it also damages the vinyl. Last resort and be quick!

BTW-did you guys know that those water soluable felt tipped pens stain gel coat? Figured that one out the hard way...

I've used a product called SprayPower that I get at Walmart for about $1.80/32oz. It seems to work on everything else so it may work on the ink as well. If you can't find it they have a website www.spraypower.com
