Yes, it was on display in Miami but I didn't get the specs. I think I saw something about 3 liter.

The Mercury Racing 175 HP diesel is 90% a 300XS Optimax. It's been used by the U.S. Government, Military and it strategic partners due to gasoline-powered engines safety issues since 2015. Being Swedish-American I don't have the U.S. Developed Vetting Security Clearance to be privy of any recent Mercury diesel outboard project. The Swedish Oxe Marine diesel outboards are at the moment getting the most commercial market buzz and their gearbox design and well-proven automobile derived diesel engines are an advantage. The 300 HP BMW N57 3.0 liter, 6 cyl. twin turbo motor will be their make it or brake it product. It debuted at the Sept. 2019 Genoa Boat Show. They're planning to produce 1,000 of them this year, 2,000 examples in 2021 and 3,000 in 2022. The couple of fellows I know who have tried the OXE 300 are very impressed. With tougher and tougher emission regulations these motors have a serious edge over their gasoline fuel competition.
