Boat racing is returning to Southern Maryland

I heard. Luck would have it I already have plans for that weekend. Is this replacing another race? Is the OCMD race still happening in Sept.?

Wheres the best hotel to stay with near the action?

Holiday Inn, Solomons.

i already have my room and dock space reserved there, bring the boat and it can be right outside your room. same weekend as the shootout though.

I'm looking forward to this as well. Probably only making a day trip down.

more info on this, do you get a slip from the Hotel? Was going to launch from Denton MD and head down the Choptank River into the bay and head south to Solomon’s.

Has anyone confirmed that the race is still on?

Pretty sure the race was cancelled.

I just heard from the President of CBPBA and he confirmed that the race has been cancelled. They are contemplating doing a poker run that weekend instead.
