John Caldwell’s 48-foot MTI catamaran that was on display at last month's Miami International Boat Show features a new eight-seat cockpit design, twin Mercury Racing 1350/1100 engines and much more.

The boat was incredible in person, and couldn't go to a more deserving and down to earth owner.

150 to 160 MPH range from what a person I know has advised on his

The days of being first to the first card stop are long gone and for good reason. NOBODY CARES! He went with the bigger boat for a smoother ride and designed the interior to keep his kids comfortable and out of the wind. Regardless, I'm sure the boat is plenty fast.

old article but boats have only gotten lighter, faster, and more efficient

160 with merc 1100 in a 40 mti
