Default Recreational boating banned in South Florida

https://www.sun-sentinel.com/coronav...hku-story.html

In an attempt to crack down on the spread of the new coronavirus, Palm Beach County officials have banned recreational boating activities indefinitely, citing parties and other large gatherings on the water.

Palm Beach County’s directive comes within a day of a similar ban in Miami-Dade County in response to large offshore gatherings on Saturday and advertising for a “sandbar party” on Sunday.

Have herd Nashville was hit hard, hoping the folks are listening and staying at home (we are). We have a boat in a slip and hope we can go out and have a bit of normalcy, go out during week when few are around.

Big water is clear of ice here and the Coast Guard has put their boats in the water. Walked the piers and kept a respectable distance from the others enjoying a nice Sunday afternoon. Bridgestone cleared out their offices last week and hope it was proactive enough to keep my family out of harms way.

Get out, be anti-social, and stay safe.
