In an attempt to crack down on the spread of the new coronavirus, Palm Beach County officials have banned recreational boating activities indefinitely, citing parties and other large gatherings on the water.
Palm Beach County’s directive comes within a day of a similar ban in Miami-Dade County in response to large offshore gatherings on Saturday and advertising for a “sandbar party” on Sunday.
