Default Avanti Boats in N.J.?

Does anyone have info on these boats? From what I can tell they are copycats of different boats in one. A little older Cig. influence?

I knew one guy who removed the Avanti logo from the engine hatch and tried to pass it off as a Cig. The boat never sat in the water level. always listed to port .When running it always needed more tab on the left , even when he was by himself. I have a friend who just lost his to the bank . He wasn't too upset since he had glass and stringer issues in the cabin where the waterline would be on a normal plane. Cracks in the glass and stringers coming loose from the hull.
Repair estimates were $5000 to $6000. Both boats were built in the early 90's.
Maybe thing have improved some by now

These kits are basically unfinished\unrigged avanti hulls......I've never seen one on the water here in NJ.

KITS

from their website:
Avanti has been two time consecutive National High Points Champions in the Factory division of the US Offshore Racing Association..
Anyone have any info on this claim???

27' MOLD IS 20+ YEARS OLD-STILL IN USE. POSSIBLY AN OLD CIGARETTE. CAN YOU SAY "HOOK?"
22' IS A BABY 27'
26' STRIKING RESEMBLENCE TO 26' HUSTLER?
39' MOLD IS AS OLD AS THE HILLS.
33' COMES FROM THE SAME WITH DIFFERENT TOP DECK.

dmhoj your right who would want anything that looks like that hell look how long it looks, you know who would want a 27' boat to look like a 32' or a 32 to look like a 38 have glassed the top deck to the bottom hell just adds more weight right and why would anyone want 24* on a offshore boat that's just crazey. Also why would you only have a 7' beam man if you and your friends have a fat ass then you will have turn sideways to fit,and lets not forget that the boat slices through the ruff stuff that's no fun and flys level and has a good CG.I know I will never buy one of those ugly, good handeling fun to fly things that they call a boat!Well maybe not till I can find away to distroy this 27'AVANTI
