Which electric fuel pump for 1000hp?
#1
Currently running a Mallory 140 comp and the mechanical pump. I would like to flow more fuel with retrun line. Dyno test showed we were flowing 630 lbs of fuel an hour. Keeping the mechanical pump and adding which electric pump?

I have spoke to a tech at Barry Grant and the big pumps they sell are designed for 10 minutes of operating time (as in drag race cars). I have also heard stories of the various brands of pumps frying and trying to find the reliable pumps for the volume. Who is using what?

I didn't now that about the BG's
It's a good thing I didn't spend the money for one of those !
A friends 43 Scarab has triple 1000's in it and they use Weldon pumps. I don't know too much about them , I'm sure you could find something out on the web though.
That Aeromotive pump sounds real sweet !

Brad-have you thought of using a belt driven mechanical pump? There is a circle track place up here that is sure to have them. Borchardt speed is the name. 414-282-2390
