IMHO the article should say long time girlfriend, not long time significant other. It could be misleading being that Dustin is an unusual name for a lady.

I can't speak for Jason, but our policy is to defer to what the person in the particular relationship wants to be called. It's not about being politically correct (and I know you didn't suggest that), it's just courtesy.
