Default Powerquest 270 Lazer

Hey guys, I'm looking at a 1996 Powerquest 270 Laser, the boat looks like its in really good condition but has high hours on the hull (1000 hours). The engine has been replaced, 500HP, 262 hours. I was wondering if I should be concerned with the high hull hours? Does anyone know if these boats have wood or fiberglass stringers and transom? Thanks in advance for the info!

I have a 1998 and the transom is wood. Can’t speak on stringers but I would expect wood since transom is.

I have a 98 270 that's as solid as new. I would not be concerned as long as it was taken care of properly. Also 750 hours on the original 502 Mag and it still runs perfect. Great boat.

Adding to what tripower said, in working on mine I have not found any soft places. Floor is fiberglass. PQ builds a nice boat.
