Low profile Dominator 1050 Spark Arrestors or ???
Good morning OffshoreOnly's - hope all are healthy and safe in these weird times.
Finally got Weiand 177s mounted on 454 engines in Swampy and am now looking for Spark Arrestors or something low profile to put on Dominator 1050 carbs.
Engines are under cockpit floor so room is tight and scoops etc are not an option. Cool air comes into engine room via multiple 4-inch holes in floor at cockpits edge and up through gunnels behind fiberglass panels.
I know there are a lot of creative folks out there - what would you suggest?
? Should I opt for carb "hats" and run cool intake tubes from outside engine room??
?Are there 2-inch tall Spark arrestors available for these carbs??
