So Michigan City may be the only race that is actually cancelled. That is a bummer since I live in Michigan City. This year would have been the biggest and best yet! I can understand the reasoning, but this is a big loss for my city...

Yes it will be, I have not missed a year yet. I am typically on the boat Thursday - Sunday at Washington Park. Too bad they couldn't have held out another couple of weeks or a month to see how things play out here locally. This will impact local businesses for sure.

Yeah, this sucks to hear, we have gone every year also. It actually turned into our family vacation with parents, my sister, and wife’s sister. It’s an awesome venue that I would suggest other check out next year! The wet pits are right on the beach, the best street parade. Etc! I will be missing my yearly voodoo drink and crab cake sandwich at mateys

Thank you Matt for updating us on OSO. I like this "The Thunder on Cocoa Beach (Fla.) contest is still scheduled for its August 27-30 dates. The final race in the APBA Series, Roar Offshore Fort Myers in Fort Myers Beach, Fla., is still set for October 8-10." Great news.
