I did a search and did not find a recent answer to replace a single steel braided hose. It looks like it got pinched against the swim platform. It ultimately failed in the middle (not at either fitting).
Who is making these with the right pressure and fittings?

I’m sure there is a hydraulic repair shop near you that can get what you need Tom. I can’t tell from your picture but the hose “looks” like one of the Mayfair hoses that I got from Hardin. Good luck

Are there newer, higher performance hoses that are more adapted for the Gulf's salt water environment? I would be interested in replacing all 4 lines if its an upgrade.

Any local hydraulics shop can likely make that for you. Just take it off and carry it with you.

Taking it to a local hydraulic shop may be your best bet..

Some steering manufactures use 45° flare fittings and some use 37° flare fittings.. Matching it up will assure you get the correct fittings on your hoses.

I got it done with stainless steel fittings...Pensacola Rubber and Gasket was GREAT to work with!
