Probably a stupid question but I have searched & cannot find anything about this. Have all 3 motors out of my 47 Fountain. I have a wiring harness that comes through the center drive into the bilge. It has a weather pack connector & does plug into the harness. It has a tag on the harness that says "Pier Mode". What in the heck is it? Thanx.

I'll have to check tomorrow on the wire colors. There are two wires.
It appears to of come as part of the drive. It is a factory harness that plugs directly into the Fountain harness. Any ideas as to what they mean by Pier Mode"? I've had Bravo & trs drives on various boats & have never seen this before.
Heck, I didn't even know it was there. Lol
Obviously it doesn't affect anything that I'm aware of. I've been using this boat for over a year.
Thanx for the response.

I appreciate all of the responses. I put my old man glasses on saw that half of the writing on the tag was gone & the rest was pretty garbled. It says mercathode. Lol
I'm familiar with that system. Thanx again. Lol
Didn't mean to waste anybody's time. 🥴
