Default 353 with 500 EFIs - where does Lube reservoir mount

In the middle of a engine upgrade to 500's. Wondering where Formula is mounting lube reservoir? The 353's I see online are not on the engines, on the port side its near the blower. With all of the waste water plumbing and Latham, no free spot on the SB side that I can find.

Any one have pics?

Mine are mounted on the gunnels next to the motors. Starboard just after the Steering reservoir and the port just after the ground block

We had an 05 353 with 525s, the reservoirs were mounted on aluminum brackets bolted to the intake.

Interesting, Hadn't seen the Intake mount. Curious how it attaches? Do they use the intake mounting bolts?

I have a bunch of plumbing on my SB side. The Vacuflush/Y valve and Latham are all using the space.

I didn't make the brackets, and bought the boat from original owner who doesnt have that skill set by any means. He had a few custom things done during the build of the boat. Im sure that's not a factory production piece. Most likely a way to solve a request and get the boat delivered.

Formula can be creative, especially with new packages. Are these early 525’s? They look like they have 500 efi style oil filter mounts, which was on the first set of 525 vins.

Nice package!

The 525's were first gen. They had those funky front lift brackets that allowed that aluminum plate to mount up. The front brackt won't fit a 500, as I already learned the hard way (have one for sale...).
