squat when towing the boat

Agree with above post. Air Lift Ultimate air bags are the best product on the market now. But they are not the only one. Firestone makes some too, (they actually manufacture the bags themselves for Air Lift).
Air Bags are the way to go. IME, I love having a full compressor system on the truck. You can adjust air pressure to tires at any time, and of course you can install train horns which are a must for towing IMHO.
If you want to go full monty, you can buy a compete setup from www.hornblasters.com to INCLUDE air bags too.

+1 on the Air Lift bags. I installed the manual fill ones on my truck. easy install and do not need a lot of air to level truck, they work really well. Im not fan of auto fill compressor, as I view it as something else to rust, break, etc. However, I do see it being practical. JMO.

I also recommend the AirLift airbags as mentioned above

38 Fountain with cuddy

. I installed the AirLift 5000Ultimate Plus with the WirelessONE air system on my leveled F250 and it can be adjusted to have no squat whatsoever. It takes a little work to run all the lines and wiring neatly but well worth the effort.

You also don't HAVE to run a compressor. On my earlier trucks, I had them plumbed to a schraeder valve (valve stem) that replaced the upper rear license plate bolts. Once you know what pressure works best to level your truck for towing (and handling), just fill them back up to that pressure when you are about to tow. Deflate to spec when not towing.
The AirLift Ultimate are nice because you can just deflate to 0 lbs., easy peasy, as the internal jounce bumper keeps the bags from getting damaged when empty. All the other bags you have to leave a minimum of 5 lbs. in them, I ALWAYS kept around 20-30 lbs in my bags even empty to help with anti-sway control.
