Default 292 fastech going under the knife

This coming winter I will be having the transom re-done in my 292 fastech. I plan on de-rigging the boat from the front seats to the stern. I also plan on removing the windshield to have the trim re-powdercoated. I have some questions since I will be doing the de-rigging myself to save $$.

How do I remove the entire windshield? Where are the bolts/screws located?
Any tips or tricks for tackling this task of de-rigging?
thanks everyone!

Chances are you need to inscrew the top frame, then remove glass, then you should have access to screws or bolt in the bottom railing!

Kicking around the idea of selling it. If/when I can justify a Monterey 305ss.

The windshield should come apart in 4 large pieces. You don't need to disassemble the complete frame. The pieces all interlock. Remove from back to front. Pretty easy, re-assembly can be an issue as you need to get new gaskets material for the bottom of the frames and makes realigning holes a bit of a challenge
