Hey everyone...wondering if anybody has installed a Bilge pump for the Lower Centre Bilge in a 400SS.....Currently the only way to drain it is when the boat is out of the water and the Plug is pulled. The Boat is in the water from May until September , so there is a lot of water accumulation ...and no way to drain.. Kind of an odd design . Just thought I'd ask if anybody has tackled this? Having a hard Time finding where the water is coming from. With an epoxy barrier coat just done..its not coming in externally... either water tank, or drains, or AC lines but tough to find!
Thanks for any input

Im surprised there isn't already a bilge pump there? If it is like our 382 fastech, it may be that the hose and pickup is under the cabin steps and the pump is in the engine room. Ours is a diaphragm pump mounted on the stbd side engine room wall

So the Centre section between engines is about 10" Tall...and that is the cavity with the lowest point in the boat..Leakage, floor drains etc all go into bilge...then from bilge drain into lower cavity..(Epic fail)

I have a 400SS and Im still not clear....There is a center drain plug on the transom. It drains any water that gets between the liner and the hull.No Pump. Small area. I vac it dry if im transporting through freezing weather, Normally it would be dry. The 382 has a diaphram that sucks out the under step drain in the cabin. The 2 bilge pumps in the engine room drain all but about 1" of water in the center section of the bilge
