454 Mag MPI Water Temperature dropping
I've got a 1998 Baja Boss 232 w/ the 454 mag MPI (385hp). While running it when the water temperature hits 160 it quickly drops to 120 then slowly climbs back up and repeats. When it does this it will lose a few hundred RPM and slow down. I know its the thermostat opening and closing but I figure the water temp should stay more consistent. Motor is stock with 160 degree thermostat. Any ideas? Thanks
