Looking for a download to get rid of trojen horses and other proceses that I don't need to clean up this computer. I have 32 proceses running with the thing turned on and I am offline. Any idea what can be safely deleated? BTW it's a COMPAQ

Tough question to answer. The problem is many installed programs create processes that run independant of the application. For example, when you install Quickbooks it creates a process called qbagent that loads into memory, regardless of whether Quickbooks is running or not. No documentation. I think there were six processes running when I fired up my Dell for the first time. Now with all the apps I run I've got 30. I always take a snapshot of the processes on my clean machines. Then I can identify the Windows process that are required, and the extra's added by apps. If I can find the list I'll send it to ya.
