Default Lip_Ship edition

Curious.... I am familiar with Lip-Ship as a Cigarette dealer and parts but I was wondering, I have been in the market for a Café or Top Gun and I see Lip Ship edition. Does that add any value and if so, why?

Thanks,

Shawn

Does it add value to an older Cig? not really, Value is going to be more dependent on how its been maintained, just like an AMG in poor shape is not going to be worth more than a regular car in great shape. normally his touches just take what is a really cool boat and makes things better. why do you think at boat shows a lot of times one of his boats are displayed
ive had a lipship cig and a regular cig, the lipship one was nicer

I personally wouldn’t assign any additional value to a “lipship” edition but they are great to deal with and if I ever had the money wouldn’t hesitate to have them redo a boat for me.

Currently aren't there only two dealers in the US, Lipship and Performance Boat Center? My impression of when they used to build them that Lipship would oversee and go above and beyond normal construction methods. Any way you look at it, Phil knows these better than the mfg.

Phil's attention to detail is second to none. His stamp on any Cigarette means that boat met a higher standard than one without. As for value, I would say it would not add much
