Not boat related but I thought someone might be able to help me out.
I ran out of material on a gel-coat project last night. (an old build-in fiberglass spa).
Can I apply the final coat (with wax) tonight without sanding the non-waxed gel we sprayed last night?

We wiped it down with acetone and shot it with the styrene wax additive tonight. The non-waxed material was still very tacky.
I think we're ok. Fingers crossed.
