Hey everyone, doing some major work to my Formula 292 fastech this coming winter. I plan on keeping this boat for a while (3-5 more seasons), curious what the pros and cons would be of running boxes. I plan on building 500 hp engines, installing 280 K planes, doing some blue printing on the hull etc. Thanks!

No reason to install them on a twin engine 292. I think it would throw off the COG the boat was designed with.

personally,I'd call the factory for this expensive experiment.

Agreed, especially since Formula put boxes on quite a few boats, although not the 292 that I know of, but they should be able to provide some insight.
