Well I have already gone over buying a 353. I would end up spending over $40k to upgrade to a 353. Between the boat (a nice one with 500/525's or bigger, not older than my current 292) and a bigger truck to pull it ($15k more than my current trucks worth) I decided it would be cheaper for me to hold onto my 292 for a few more seasons until after I buy some land and/or make more money. I'm gonna hold onto it For a few more years so I wanna make it a bad mofo. I have to put a transom in it so I figured why not go all the way. Already have K planes sitting in my garage that i got cheap... Since we're talking about bigger boats, My ultimate goal is a 419 fastech re-rigged running fully staggered 1000hp big blocks with NXT or M6 drives. I know a guy who is currently doing this to his 419 Fastech and I'm excited to what the results will be.

Extension boxes on a 419 keep the bow down and make the boat handle like a 353. Much smoother handling with boxes compared to without. I want boxes on mine. Either I sell to move into boxes or bite the bullet and add them. Either way I am going boxes.
