One of my engines will not go past 3,000 RPM. I would like to scan the ECM but I don't know what one it is. I am guessing MEFI 1, only a guess. Engine serial 4110179746 - year 1999.

Looks like MEFI-3 to me with EST distributor
This would mean TechmatePro with 94005 adapter. The adapter will work with all MEFI's
Code also go Diacom software and same adapter

The techmate is handy and better these days then the old one like I have. The new gives up to 5 lines at one time in condense mode and segments things in areas of need. It does not record and playback data, just real time. Most I've learned from another forum
Diacom needs a laptop so seeing it can be an issue. Carrying around it becomes more of an issue, but does record data and can play back later. Can put more things on the screen then just 5 items
