Anyone have good pics of the battery selector box in the engine compartment, also is the hatch switch on constant power so it can open the hatch to get to the switches. The switches look like they are bep battery clusters.

Here's mine. It's a 2013. It requires the Port switch to be on for the hatch to operate.

so you have to leave 1 battery on all the time? since they are in the engine compartment?

No. These are electronic switches. They activate from separate toggles on the dash.
