Anyone on the inside know if the APBA boat race in November is going to run or is it covid cancelled?

I hear there’s a fun run and other offshore boating activities... can any one who’s attending or has attended fill me on what to expect?

Thinking about hauling my little CC bay boat out this year to do some exploring to figure out the who/what/when/where/why. Maybe haul the CIG down next year???

Fantasy fest is another event a week or 2 before the races. You really need to "google" it.......but I wouldn't do so at work! LOL

I agree though, if they cancelled fantasy fest then it seems very likely the races will be cancelled too. The poker run has already stated they won't have the tents setup or the dinners/parties they normally have IF they can even have the event at all.

We cancelled our reservation for Key West. I figured it would be better to do so now, before any of the places declare bankruptcy. If the Key West races still happen, I'm sure there will be plenty of places available to rent for a near-last-minute decision, and if need be, we can always drive down with the campers which we have done before for New Years.

what can you guys tell me about the set up? Boating my whole life but always on midwest lakes. Never been “offshore”. Do you rent slips at a marina? What about pop up storms? Are there lifts available to rent? Etc... surely y’all don’t trailer unload and load everyday.

We cancelled awhile back and it took our place over 2 months to refund our money. Rusty at PBC told us good call on cancelling. He just doesn’t see any racing this year.
