Default MTI Customers In Kentucky And New Jersey Thrilled With New Deliveries

MTI’s Tom Stuart delivered two boats—a 34-foot cat and a 42-foot center console—in the span of 24 hours last week to customers who were beyond impressed with their new rides, which are both over the top, yet night and day different.

There is no question that delivery stories are "feel good" stories. Then again, when is a boat owner happier than on the day he or she takes delivery? They are, as in the story in this thread, human-interest stories. And if it inspires a reader to buy a boat, great, but the point is to showcase high-performance boats for high-performance powerboat enthusiasts. Going by our Google analytics numbers—over which we have zero control—our readers enjoy them as do our our advertisers. (No harm in that—we are an advertising-supported company.)

This year in particular, there has been no shortage of bad news for Jason Johnson and I to report. So to find balance—and simply because it is our nature—we make a concerted effort to find good news. We make no apologies for that.

My suggestion? If they don't interest you, don't read them. Same goes for any story we publish. We take no offense to that. On the contrary, we expect it.

I love seeing new builds especially now with non-existent boat shows/poker runs. Without Matt's feature I would have never seen either boat.

Thanks for reporting on these new splashes. Powerboating is a thankless hobby and I enjoy reading about, and seeing these works of art.

That center console is a beautiful boat! It was out on Barkley Lake/Lake Kentucky on the 4th weekend. It was slow cruising through a popular raft-up bay. Absolutely stunning.
