Default 1997 7.4. Turns over won't start

ok so i have a 97 7.4 merc with a carb. Was running then we stopped for 5 min . when we went to go starboard motor was not running. This has now been 4 wks.Has plenty of fuel and turns over fine , has 50+ for oil pressure when cranking. I change the ICM with the newest revised control module., new cap n rotor, plugs, wires,Coil is good. New pick up module in dist. Dist is turning.motor has compression. Swaped the engine knock ,spark control module from other motor still has no spark. Have power to everything Oh and changed key ignition. Im stump, dont know much a out these Thunderbolt ign. Where do i go from here .

it takes three things for a gas engine to run.1,spark at the right time.2,a correct mixture of air&fuel.3,cylinders with compression.find the missing one and correct the problem and it will run.
try disconnecting the tack and see if spark returns.

Disconnected the tack.. has compression . No kill switch or lanyard.

Try pulling the gear selector lever all the way back and give it a try. Neutral safety switch position is finicky.
