Default Alarm Issues on 2001, 35 Fountain Lightning w/ twin 500's

Need some input...Having an issue with Alarms on a 2001, 500 EFI. All gauges show great but for no rhyme or reason alarm at the dash sounds, red lights come on and goes into ‘limp’ mode (RPM Reduction). We shut the ignition off, unplugged drive oil level sensors at reservoirs (was told that may be it). Started back up and ran fine multiple times throughout the day. Then end of the day, same issue. I've hooked the Diacom Software to it and neither motor has any stored Codes. The starboard motor did show a General Warning 1 Telltale (see pic below). According to MEFI 4/4B Diagnostic Manual, page 320 states: General Warning 1 = Transmission Overtemp Switch.

Has anyone heard of this?

Thanks for any and all help!

It alarms after running for a bit (never at startup) and when it does it goes into 'RPM Reduction'. The boat is 100% factory...So, Bravo's. Yes, we have unplugged both trim level sensors and it still occurs. Again, not consistently and has only happened 3 times total over the last two seasons.

So disregard the trans over temp because you dont have them, make sure the cannon plug on reach engine is in all the way and secured with a hose clamp, dont you mean the drive lube reservoir sensor, not trim sensor ??

Indeed, I did mean the drive lube sensors at the reservoirs. Thank you.
