Default Bup

I just bought a 2008 Coblat 272 with the 496, have problems with the 496 to going over 4200 rpm without it popping through the intake. Changed sparkplugs today to see if that would clear up the problem, made no difference, checked all plug wires and they all seemed good. Called BUP because I live in Dallas, BUP lives in Fort Worth. John took time to talk to me on the phone, knew exactly what my problem is with the cool fuel 3 issue and offered to schedule to fix my boat.

You guys don't know how valuable BUP was to this sight and luckily I've become acquainted with him and he has always been willing to help and take his time to give me information.

So what you are saying is... You had a problem with your boat, called a mechanic, got through to mechanic, had conversation with mechanic (obvious not Manning) and he scheduled you to bring it in so he could fix it. Isn't that how it is suppose to work?

He didn't tell you how to fix it?

Wrong told me step by step how to replace it and I work on cars re-built my 70 Cuda I know how to turn wrenches. John offer to help fix it, and scan my boat and we would go out for a day of boating, I have to buy the parts and will buy from John I'm sure I'll have to throw a few bones his way but to have a PROFESSIONAL help is invaluable......

I miss BUP too. It prob wouldn't be taking this long to resolve my fuel issues if he were still here.

I guess if he would have followed the advertising rules, he'd still be here.
This thread once again shows he was using OSO to promote his business.
