Default Power trim issue

I just bought a 99 Baja outlaw 25 with a 7.3 mpi and bravo one drive. I can trim the drive up when there’s no load on it. After planning, i hit the trim button and it will not go up. At wot I’m only running 40mph at 3800rpm. I feel like it would run faster and more efficient if i could trim up. What would cause the trim to not work under load? Thanks in advance

You may have air in the lines, the pump may be going bad, it may have been replaced with the wrong pump...or the hyd lines on the pump me be hooked up backwards. There is usually one side of the pump that has stronger pressure.

I'll check the pump lines first and make sure they are in the right ports.... if they are, could there be a leak inside the rams? or pump going bad?

just checked and the hoses and wires were backwards! They had the grey low pressure line on the up, so now it makes sense, thanks for the tip! I'm going to flush and rebleed the system now that its wired and plumbed right and hope it gets the bow out of the water and hopefully get more RPMS at WOT

Nothing better than getting good trim.
