I have completed restorarion of one of the few 22 classic we have in Italy.
I use it on lake of como
boat is 1989
The engine is a mercury racing 500 efi year 2000
X dimension is 16" I have a -2 imco lower so the prop axle is 3.5" below ( which I understand is too high)
Result: with a mirage 27 tho boat doesn't go on plane, with a hydro QIV 28 it slips and eventually goes on plane but very difficult,
With.a Ballistic 4 blades 13,5 27p it ioes well but hits the rev limiter at 76 MPH gps.
My next try is put a 1" spacer togo 4.5 below and go with the hydro.
Handling till now is not priority.
Any previous e perience with 500 efi props etc.
