Hey guys what’s your thoughts on a 4 blade prop on my 186 captiva? It’s got the 4.3 in it and only issue I have is getting it up out of the water.

I’ve put cheap 4 blade Solas aluminum props on many economical family boats that care more about easier planing and keeping on plane than anythingvrlse.

You can get them for around $120 shioped.

What’s the pitch on them?

I had a ‘93 206 Rinker with a 4.3LX and ran it with a 19” Mirage Plus. Had no issues pulling me up on a slalom. No goofy whale tail on it or anything else.
