I had a couple Carlisles a few years ago as they came cheap with my new wheels. They almost lasted a few months before the sidewalls developed bubbles

I've been using Carlisles for about 2 seasons. We don't tow much, generally 200 miles roundtrip, per weekend in summer. They came highly recommended from a good friend of mine who is an exec at a local (large) tire distributor. They have been performing well, but I just had to replace 2 tires on the front axle (tri-axle) due to side walls were breaking down on the trip home from Destin. But, that situation may be self inflicted from pulling in an out of my building (requires a sharp turn).

I'd buy them again.

Even Goodyear MARATHONS are made in China now. In fact, I haven't found ANY trailer tire that isn't. The big guys like Goodyear all built facilities there.
I've had really good luck with Carlisle tires, actually.

Goodyear endurance. I had marathons and they were crap. The endurance line is made in the USA and is a great tire. I have about 15000 miles over 3 years on mine. I just towed out to Powell from south Florida and back. No issues.

Here's my experience with them. I had the older model Carlisle tires and had 3 failures of the sidewall unbonding from the cords on a single long trip. Tires were inflated to spec etc. They were 4 years old at the time. So, I didn't buy any more Carlisles for my next sets on multiple trailers.

Then when it was time for me to replace again, I saw Carlisle came out with a new model called the Radial Trail HD. Carlisle had a video at the time showing the design improvements and heat resistance vs other brands. They even admitted they had a real problem with the earlier model and needed to start from scratch to regain their reputation. When I heard that I thought that was really good of a company to admit they failed and are trying hard to fix things. So, I bought a set. They performed flawless so I bought another set for another trailer. No problems so far with any of them. (I now make a practice of replacing trailer tires after 4 years of use too.)
