Yes, thank you very much Chris!
Also got a set from Tank's son in law, (AJ Barrett, Barrett's Marine)
As far as the leaking goes I guess I'll address that when and if it happens. It looks like a pretty solid design to me.

They do look like a solid piece, but they are notorious leakers. Have a friend that has fought them for a couple of years and just re-engineering them so they don't leak. Sutphen 30 mentioned in a thread in the Tech forum on what he does to get them to stop leaking. Might want to do those upgrades to start off.

I was looking at them today and thought a larger diameter Oring be needed.
They do slip into the base kinda easy.
The only reason I am changing to these is I am “done” pulling tailpipes and manifolds to check my valvetrain.

I installed stainless socket head cap screw on my valve covers and have long reach ball end Allen wrenches to remove my valve covers. This has worked on my Stainless Marine manifolds and my CMI E-Tops. I run solids so I check lash every once in a while.

I had the same setup on my 540s and it was ok.
Not ideal but doable.
My current setup is Gen 3.
I want to be able to take a peek quick, fast and in a hurry.
If you had been on my boat at any point this season you’d know why, lol.

I don't know, but the engines will be out in a week or so and I can get some pics for you. Also, maybe PM Sutphen 30 and ask for his tricks to get them to seal.
