Full hydraulic steering recommendation

Hello,
I am looking at this CP Performance Mayfair inside kit as I have a Zeiger cylinder to match my boat already (1981 27 Excalibur). Does anyone have any experience with this kit? Mayfair Deluxe Inside Hydraulic Steering Kit -Single Bravo, Single Ram
The end fittings on the hoses are sleeves that goes over the hose and then screw onto the end fitting. Good quality?
Also wondering if I need the reservoir?
I also will need a TRS end cap and transom plate to mount the cylinder and a couple bulkhead hose through hulls. I understand Zeiger or Imco has this in stock.

I don’t have personal experience about the kit you have chosen, but I can say that everything in the Mayfair kits that I have installed was top quality. Drilling templates are included and the instructions are easy even the first time. The reservoir is necessary because of the volume in a hydraulic system when the ram is extended. Good luck with your install.
