Default Swapping merctrans to Borg warner
I have 1979 scarab 300 with a pair of 454's. I need parts to rebuild the merctrans or parts to swap in the borg warner transmissions.

You'll be better off to rebuild the Mertrans. Converting to BW requires moving the engines forward.

I have some parts, seal kits, gerotor/front pump, and the tools to help making rebuilds easier.

I need fwd frictions on one for sure, won't know the extent of damage till I get them apart. Wanted to do a rebuild on both for peace of mind. Frictions and seals at a minimum. Trying to locate as many parts as possible before tearing them apart.
