I am restoring a 1987 Banana boat and looking to power it with a Mercury 400r outboard. Does anyone have a suggestion on a dealer that would best for purchasing and possibly rigging the engine. My boat originally came with twin 200 OB but the problem I am having is that there are no Coast Guard plates on the boat so dealers here wont even talk to me. I am located in the North East but have no issue traveling. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
