I've only used the 41-983 plugs with no problem. According to this thread, NGK makes them.....
I believe AC Delco has a rebate now so it's a no brainer.

Anybody find a plug with a smaller gap. Say .040"-.045" ?
That .060" gap is why my edumacated opinion says these motors eat wires (and some coils) and why plugs (and again, wires)have to be replaced (because of running issues) before they should have to.
