Default 87 Hawk Kevlar

I am with my buddy bringing a hawk Kevlar to Lake of the Ozarks. Does anybody know how you can tell if it is a Kevlar and how many were made that year.CRT38144A787

IIRC, from my years of reading info here on OSO, I believe it was just the decks that were kevlar, and you should be able to tell in the unfinished for portion of the cabin. The kevlar would be a different color, but I would not know from experience. Im sure someone on here with first hand knowledge will chime in.

The hullsides are as well. You can look in the cabin. If it's Kevlar it will be a gold in color. I'll see if I can find a pic of my old TG...

Pretty sure that boat is Kevlar. I’ve seen it listed a few times over the years and saw it at competition marine in Missouri years ago

Thanks guys, we got back to the lake late last night everything went well. Were there a lot of these hawk Kevlar boats made or is it a rarity. He is looking forward to running with everybody next summer it’s kind of a neat old boat.

Was that boat originally from LOTO ? Seems like I have seen it here before, like when it was new?
