Hi I have been experiencing an engine issue with my 2006 496 Mag HO, it's running rough & sluggish when the engine is cold and it's the first time getting on plane for the day. I live in the Detroit Metro area of Michigan and since the weather & water have cooled down my engine is running rough & sluggish when I first get on the throttle to get on plane, the engine makes strange exhaust sound from the starboard side and sounds like it's missing/ like a choke is stuck on for about 40-60 seconds and then it fully clears up and is fine for the entire rest of the day. The engine idles fine, tach reading is good at idle not bouncing around, and has never stalled out. I can feel and hear something change and the engine fully smooths out and has full power after 45- 60 seconds it's almost like it shifts into 2nd gear. I get No alarms, beeps, nothing indicating an issue. Any ideas and thoughts on what could be causing this to happen?
