What is the going rate to check a 40' boat's transom and stringer to see if they are wet? This would be in the gulf coast area.
What is too wet? Does it make any difference if it has been in the water all summer and just pulled out or if the bottom was just power washed off?
TIA

going rate...? You can check for moisture yourself...Pickup a moisture meter and tap around with a mallet.
Regarding power wash and boat sitting in water...I suppose it will show a slight uptick in moisture but nothing significant enough to provide a false positive.
i forget what % are acceptable but from memory I’d say 8-18% is normal. Anything above 25% run for sure.
good luck
