One thing nobody seems to hear or talk about with these fast tri-toons. Although they handle rough water somewhat well and the new outboards are allowing for unheard of speeds then in the past, the aluminum construction is not the best material for bouncing a boat in rough water. I have seen and heard of many of these faster pontoon boats splitting the toons and cracks where they mount to the floor. Aluminum does not flex, it breaks.
