Is there a group of individuals who are collecting the 80's classic Apache boats? It seems as though there are not really many sea going Apache's out there...but plenty of interest in the boats. Are they a collectors item? Even looking around on the Webz it there are lots of apparel related to the brand, and retained interest in these classics.

There are 2 individuals that are known to have several Apaches - One is restoring everyone he can get his hands on to an immaculate standard.
They definitely have a strong following combined with production numbers that when compared to companies like fountain, were very low.
They are wave crushing legends that will always be recognized.... but it is a boat so using the term "Collectable" goes so far although it seems that some owners regard their Apache's on a par with the investment quality of limited run Ferrari's (only go up in price).

Great friend has one here, traded one for 41 for his current 41 and he uses them all the time even though he has other boats he can run.
Ultimate Warrior II is out very often in the Clearwater/St. Pete area.
