Hi, has anyone ever retrofitted bolster seats in a 271? I have the chance to get some bolsters from a 272 cheap and want to fit them in my 271. What I wanted to know is do I need to take the panel from the fuel tank up and fit plates under the panel or is it a case of just drilling through and putting coach bolts in?

I did this in my 242, i did pull up the center piece to have access i put some aluminum under the floor.and i tapped it and threaded a bolt thru. Formula my have already put a mounting plate under the floor you. Buying the bolsters will be one of the best things you`ll do to the boat.
